1.Water the plants beforehand, wet the soil and dig a small tunnel in the soil with a pencil, chopstick or something similar

2.Tie a piece of cotton cloth around the nozzle

3.Turn it upside down and fill the watering ball with water

4.insert the thin neck of the waterer into the hole
